Dr Pradeep Kumar A R, Principal incharge of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering has completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (Affiliated to University of Madras) during the year 1993. He completed his M.E. in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning from Anna University (CEG Campus) in the year 2003. He obtained his Ph.D. from Anna University (MIT campus) in the year 2014. He has more than three decades of teaching experience in reputed institutions which includes Merchant Navy, Navi Mumbai. He has also got one decade of research experience.

He is a recognized supervisor of Anna University since 2015 for guiding Ph.D. and M.S. scholars.

He has published more than 30 research articles in SCI, Scopus indexed journals. He has also authored four books. He has 6 patents. He has presented papers in more than 20 international and national conferences. He has also presented international webinars. He is the reviewer of many international journals of repute. He is also an editorial board member of reputed journals.

He has been a life member of ISTE since 1998. He served as conference organizer, session chair and technical committee member conference and symposium in various institutions. His research area includes I.C. engines, Alternative fuels, emulsified fuels and LHR engines etc.
