Induction Day Programme, on 29 Aug 2018

The Induction Day Programme was celebrated by the Department of Science and Humanities for the first year on 29 August, 2018 at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, Chennai. The Function was started with an Invocation and lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries at 10.00 a.m. in the college auditorium. Dr. P. Karthik, the Head of Science and Humanities welcomed the gathering. Dr. V. P. Ramamurthy, the Chairman and Mrs. V. R. Dhanalakshmi, the Chairperson presided over the function. Dr. N. Vijayan, The Correspondent, Zion Group of Institutions graced the Induction Day Programme as the chief guest. He gave an insight on the importance of School and College Education. He also educated the students on the values and ethics of life. Following this, Ms. Roopa Senthil Kumar, CEO addressed the students on the significance of the Engineering and the placement. Finally, the vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Rajalakshmi, the Admission Head.. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
