Guest Lecturer - Machine Learning - Data Science Essential

Industry Institute Interaction Cell of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, Tambaram, organized a Guest lecture for the third year students of CSE, EEE and ECE on "Machine Learning - Data Science Essential" on 30.1.2019. The program commenced at 10.30 am in the college auditorium, Principal Dr S Suyambazhahan welcomed the gathering and encourage the students about the importance of seminars / workshop by attending and useful for them rather than class hours and introduced the speaker, Dr. V.P.Nandhini Sundar. Chief guest Dr. V.P.Nandhini Sundar, is Data Science expert Chennai, delivered a lecture in detail about Scenario on what, why, where, when and how data science to be learnt and dealt with, How college students should prepare for a data science career? Data Science Certification Program Modules, Role, Key Sources, Data Science versus Data Intelligence, Data Statistics, Data Visualization and its types. Machine Learning – Advantages, Types, Applications, Models. Uses of Analytics, Demand for Analytics Professional in India, Analytics across Industries, Functions, and Careers in Data Analytics, Demand for Data Analytics, Employment Landscape, Future of Data Science Analytics Career Path and Indicative Salaries were explained. There are 165 Students and faculties from the department of CSE, EEE and ECE Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering participated in the program. Mr. R Sathyanarayanan Associate Professor / EEE Department, conclude the valedictory address and the program ended with national anthem.
