College Day

Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering organized College Day on 1.04.2019 in the College Premises. The Function was started by the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest, Dr. K. R. K Prasad, Director, MSME (Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises) Govt. of India; the Guest of Honour, Mr. T. Ganesh Babu, Senior Executive HR, M/S Newtech Precision Products Pvt. Ltd; the Chairman, Dr. V. P. Ramamurthi; the Chairperson, Ms. V. R. Dhanalakshmi; the CEO, Ms. Roopa Senthil Kumar, The Trustee, Ms. Radhika Senthil Kumar and the Principal, Dr. S. Suyambazhahan. Dr. R. K. Natarajan, Dean - Academics welcomed the gathering. The Principal, Dr. S. Suyambazhahan presented the Annual Report for the academic Year 2018-19. The Function was presided over by Dr. V. P. Ramamurthi, the Chairman - Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. The Chief Guest, Dr. K. R. K Prasad, Director, MSME (Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises) Govt. of India addressed the gathering with a special address. He gave an insight on the Entrepreneurship and Small Scale Industries. He further added the schemes available in the small scale industries to become an Entrepreneur. The Guest of Honour, Mr. T. Ganesh Babu, Senior Executive HR, M/S New Tech Precision Products Pvt. Ltd addressed the gathering with a special address. He emphasized on the placements and the skills required to be placed in industries The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour distributed the prizes and awards to the academic toppers of various departments. The Chairman, Dr. V. P. Ramamurthi and the Chairperson, Ms. V. R. Dhanalakshmi and the dignitaries on the dais honoured the staff members – Teaching and Non - Teaching who have given the best performance for the academic year, 2018-19. Also, they honoured the staff members who have given 100% results with cash prizes and awards. 5000/-. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. R. Senthamizh Selvan, HoD - Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and the Programme ended with a National Anthem.
