13th Graduation Day, on 16 Sep 2018

The Graduation Day Programme was organized for the graduands on 16th September, 2018 at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, Chennai. The Function was started with an Invocation and lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries at 2.30 P.m. in the open air auditorium. Dr.K.L.Shunmuganathan , the Principal welcomed the gathering. Dr. V. P. Ramamurthy, the Chairman, Mrs. V. R. Dhanalakshmi the Chairperson, Mrs.Roopa, the CEO presided over the function. Dr. Bhavna Kamlesh Joshipura, former Mayor of Rajkot Municipal Corporation, graced the Graduation Day Programme as the Guest of Honour. She motivated the fresh graduands never to cease their learning process and she called herself as an evergreen student. She also shared her views on the values and ethics of life with the gathering. Following this, Mr.P.R.Gopinathan, Senior Advocate in High court of Madras, elevated the occasion as the Guest of Honour. He addressed the graduands, emphasizing the importance of sincerity, honesty and dedication in profession. Dr.Kamlesh Joshipura, former Vice Chancellor Saurashtra University, Rajkot, graced the Graduation Day Programme as the Chief Guest. He advised the graduands to serve the society with their knowledge and intelligence. He also pointed out that the younger generation should always apprehend the part of the parents in their success. The graduands of EEE, ECE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Civil were awarded with degree certificates by the dignitaries. Finally, the vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. R.K Natrajan, the Dean Academics. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
