School Reach out Program - Govt.Hr.Sec.School Somangalam Students visit to DCE, on 28 Oct 2015

About 120 students from Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Somangalam arrived at the campus around 8:30 a.m. on 28 Oct 2015. The students enjoyed the campus tour in Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. The Faculty members from all the departments have shown interest in teaching the basic concepts of engineering in their respective laboratories. After having special lunch, the games were conducted for the students by the Physical Education Department. In the evening, a meeting was arranged in the auditorium. The Principal Dr. C. Ramesh Babu Durai, the Dean of Science and Humanities, Dr. R.K. Natarajan and Dr. S.Sivasubramanian Head of CSE Dept. addressed the gathering. Prizes were distributed for the winners of various games. Next, feedback was collected from the school students. The students gave wonderful feedback about the amazing infrastructure of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. Eventually, Dr. K. Senthamilsevan, Professor of ECE proposed vote of thanks. The visit of the students has broadened their minds and it was a grand success.
