DCE Open House Exhibition-2015

The Open House, a technical exhibition organized by Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, was held from 29 Jan 2015 to 31 Jan 2015 at the college premises..The exhibition was organized to promote a spirit of competition and creativity among the budding engineers. The second edition of Open House Exhibition was inaugurated on 29 Jan 2015 by Mr. Noor Mohammed, District Educational Officer, Kancheepuram . He exhorted the students to focus on the study and to make a constructive contribution to the society. Mr. Venkadesan, Inspector of Matriculation Schools, Kancheepuram was the guest of honour. He emphasized the importance of Open House exhibition, as the projects developed by students help them to understand the applications of the concepts, they study. In his Presidential address ,Dr V P Ramamurthi, Founder and Managing Trustee, Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, motivated the students to work hard and scale greater heights in life. Dr. G Senthil Kumar, Secretary, DCE, Dr. S. Sivasubramanian, Principal , Dr. S Duraiswamy, Vice-Principal, Dr. R K Natarajan, Dean (Science and Humanities) DCE, addressed the gathering. In this exhibition, students from DCE provided a complete learning experience for school students. Students of DCE presented their models/ projects, numbering more than 300, showcasing innovative ideas related to the fields of Robotics ,Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunication, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Nearly 3000 students from 35 schools visited the exhibition on these three days. Students from seven schools, displayed their projects on applications of scientific principles to home appliances, solar energy and so on.
