FDP on “Design of Electrical Machines” Organized by Dept of EEE, on 25 - 29 Nov 2014

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, Manimangalam has arranged a five days Faculty Development Program in the topic of “Design of Electrical Machines” from 25.11.14 to 29.11.14. The Chairman of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, Dr V P Ramamurthy inaugurated the function. The Principal Dr S Siva Subramaniam, Vice Principal Dr S Duraisamy, Placement Director Dr G Senthil Kumar and Head of the department Dr C Ramesh Babu Durai presided over the function. The Chief Guest Dr S Sriraman M.E., Ph.D. Former Professor, Anna University has delivered the lecture to the participants. The Objective of this FDP is to understand essential concepts in the design of various types of electrical machines. Also, this helps to realize the construction details, thermal rating, cooling systems, behavior and characteristics of various electrical machines. The faculty members of DCE and other Engineering colleges have participated and benefited by this program.
