Three Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Data Science with Python” in association with ICT Academy, on 26 & 28 Dec 2019

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a three day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Data Science with Python” in association with ICT Academy from 26th December 2019 to 28th December 2019. The Principal Dr S Sivasubramanian inaugurated the FDP and said that the importance of the training program to the faculty members for enriching their knowledge in latest technologies like BigData Analytics, IoT and Artificial Intelligence etc. The Chairman Dr V P Ramamurthi gave a special address to the participants about the importance of learning Python Programming with BigData Technologies and motivated the faculty members to gain knowledge in latest technologies. Dr U Arul, Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, (FDP Coordinator) addressed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person Mr Mathivanan Balakrishnan. The Resource Person Mr Mathivanan Balakrishnan, Senior Technical Trainer from ICT Academy handled the sessions for the faculty members in the domain of Big Data Analytics and shared his knowledge in more practical manner to the participants. The FDP educated the participants about Data Science, Python Programming, Bigdata Models, and various tools for analyzing the BigData. Dr K Nattarkannan, HoD / CSE, delivered the vote of thanks address, he thanked the college management, ICT Academy and all the participants. Forty Three faculty members were trained through this FDP, among them 20 were external faculty members from various other intuitions across the state as follows.
