Dr. V P Ramamurthi, Founder Chairman of DCE and the Academics Dean of DCE, Dr. R. K. Natarajan spoke about the necessity of engineering education for progress in the nation. The HODs and faculty members of various departments thereafter provided insights about lab procedures and requirements before allowing the students to try them out on their own.
