Three Day Engineering Learning Practice Programme Sequel 1, on 17 - 19 Apr 2017

A programme for acquainting school students with engineering education as well as trends in the industry was organized by Dr. Rajalakshmi, DCE Admissions Head on the 17th, 18th and 19th of April 2017 respectively at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. Ms. Rosy Fernando, motivational speaker was the resource expert for the programme. Around 185 students attended the programme. Ms. Fernando stressed the need for knowledge-based decisions before joining any engineering course, be it mechanical, civil, IT, Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical engineering. Mr. Somasundaram, a Life skills coach, met the school students who visited DCE campus on the 18th. He gave a patient hearing to clear the doubts in their minds. The school students got clarifications pertaining to many aspects of engineering subjects. Their questions were answered in a simple and lucid manner by Mr. Somasundaram. Counselling expert Mr. Samuel Sathish talked about the immense scope of engineering in the global village we live in. Later on, in the afternoon, a cultural extravaganza was organized for the entertaining the students.
