The Pongal Spirit at DCE, on 11 Jan 2017

Harvest Times are Happy Times, and they need fun games to complete the sense of celebration and enjoyment! As Pongal originated from the villages of Tamil Nadu, many adventure games are associated with it. People have fun playing and watching them as part of the celebration. As these people move to the cities, they take the Pongal concept and the games with them. Pongal is associated with many adventure games which were created to enable everyone to collaborate for preparations, spend fun time in watching the games and also thrill themselves through participation. At DCE, Uri Adi, Vazhukku Maram, Rangoli and other games were indulged in as part of the festive spirit on the 11th of January 2017. The students and the faculty members had a grand time by participating in these games! The winners of this programme were rewarded with exciting prizes by the Chairperson Mrs. Dhanalakshmi Ramamurthi on the same day. Dr. Senthamil Selvan. K, Professor, from ECE department organized this interesting event.
