Inauguration of DELL EMC Center of Academic Excellence - Data Science & Big Data Analytics, on 16 Feb 2017

The Career Development Cell (CDC) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering jointly inaugurated the DELL EMC Center of Academic Excellence – Data Science and Big Data Analyticson the16th of February 2017. After Ms. R. Kalavathy, Dean of Administration welcomed the gathering,the Chief Guest of the event Mr. AbhijitSrinivas,Head- Industry Interface, External Research & Academic Alliance for India andSrilanka deliveredthe inaugural address whichexplored the evolution of data technologies and importance of Big Data Analytics in social websites. The Chairman Dr. V. P. Ramamurthi presided over the function and enunciated the importance of value-added education for enhancing the employability skills of DCE students. The Guest of Honor Mr.Saravanan,Assistant General Manager, ICT Academyin his special address motivated the students to get additional skill-sets by doing value added courses in cutting edge technologies under the aegis ofthe Center of Excellence.
